MP4 -20: Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya shakedown
Переглядів 302 місяці тому
Perhaps my favorite car ever made. The fast but fragile McLaren MP4-20 was the car with which the McLaren team competed in the 2005 Formula One World Championship. The chassis was designed by Adrian Newey, Paddy Lowe, Pat Fry, Mike Coughlan and Peter Prodromou with Mario Illien designing the bespoke Ilmor engine. The car was driven by Kimi Räikkönen, Juan Pablo Montoya, Alex Wurz and Pedro De L...

The earliest live recording of Luke that I could find. Luke drops some tracks that are found on the infamous "Studio Sessions". A shame these tracks were never officially released as they totally rip. Sounds like John Peel at the end of the recording, which sadly ends way too soon.

1996 B- side on "London is a Country" on Electro Bunker. Vinyl/sound quality is poor as it was pressed to 11" green, glow in the dark vinyl.

The Next Wavelength "Push Came To Shove" Luke Vibert Remix
Переглядів 3082 роки тому
Apologies for the vinyl crackle- me and the discog seller have differing ideas about Near Mint condition. Nonetheless, this is Luke Vibert 1997 remix of The Next Wavelength "Push Came to Shove" As stated on the release sheet " Long time follower (and now label mate) of MCM work Luke Vibert (Plug, Wagon Christ) drops a mix for all the Headz to muse over. The British Rap scene grows stronger."

Frozen Tundra - Original Facenda Narration
He was great. I hated him at the time. I learned to appreciate him later. (Packer fan in WI)
"Last Second Victory" may be the name of this song. 72 AFC Championship Mercury Morris on sideline with fingers crossed. Larry Seiple fake punt for a huge gain and huge momentum change
"Last Second Victory" was a place holder title that was generated in the old NFL Films Yahoo group. The official track is "Untitled" as crazy as that sounds.
Take a look at how tough & physical those men played defense back then. Look at how tough & physical the Offensive linemen blocked with tenacity & physicality. This is a direct reflection of how soft both America & The NFL has become today. Finesse catering to the weak mentally & physically. NFL is soft finesse game today. Flag Football. Just like America soft.
Wrong. The old West hid their fear behind guns.
:55 Damn, wave after wave relentlessly trying to get at Bradshaw. You can only escape for so long.
Randy White asked by interviewer recently if he could play in todays NFL he boldly said...No! Because i played way too mean! The Manster!!
My namesake great player
Simply awesome
Why even show this if you’re going to freeze the video
I'm not sure what you mean???
RIP LA
Oh yes!
R.I.P. Larry Allen
Thanks for the clip. But, I can see why Chris Berman "altered" the narrative....!
Super awesome, i thought i had heard all the plug recording, i own all three albums. Thanks for uploading and cool visuals.
Yeah there's a few Plug gems scattered across multiple compilations, some definitely worth checking if you like Plug.
Sad to see Larry Bethea in the thumbnail photo, as he drifted into drug abuse, crime and suicide when he stole from his mother.
Larry allen done bullied greg lloyd
Greatest quarterback of the 1970's and one the greatest of all time
DIRCEU RABELO: DIRETO DA ARGENTINA, REDE GLOBO APRESENTA COPA DO MUNDO 78
This Beat Is Bad!!!!
The Drummer is Awesome
This and The Autumn Wind are the greatest NFL Films songs ecer
I haven't heard this since I was a child
Very cool. Love seeing Tony Galbreath. He was an assistant coach at Westminster College when I played in the late 90’s. He was a great football player, but he’s an even better human!
It's really a shame something seemed to go wrong with the sound on this record. Maybe a bad pressing or something but it sounds washed out. It's one of my faves from that time too.
yeah man i hear you, youtube compression certainly doesn't help either.
Limo pulling up looked menacing
That's a clip of Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson rolling up to the Pro Bowl in january 1979 (also grabbed my profile pic from that.
One of the greatest NFL music soundtracks and what a dazzling array of highlights. I Thank you soooo much and am so Grateful that you share this with us. BRAVO
Sadly every single QB sack shown here would be a penalty now days.
Frozen tundra was already common phrase in newspapers before Facenda uttered the famous phrase. Sabol borrowed the periodical “frozen tundra”for NFL films. Doubting Thomas’s can look it up.
The pneumonia bowl.
throwing to the great (6' 8") harold carmichael. kind of hard to quarterback with a cast on your face.
Doomsday always had some damn good defensive linemen. These hits and tackles along with the music for this clip and Pony Soldiers gets me into the real mood for some real football. Unlike today's version of the Cowboys, this Era was always a must see/watch product on Sundays and Monday nights. I'd rather watch these old films of the once mighty Cowboys in the Cotton Bowl and Texas Stadium than todays version in AT&T Stadium. Also, back then we never really had to endure seeing the owner after every play for his reaction, as we do for the narcissistic Jerry Jones.
The most physically dominant offensive lineman I’ve ever seen in the NFL.
agreed. LA is one of my fav players all time, the dude was a beast.
Just excellent!Vibert on fire here! thanks for sharing 👍
Agreed! You're welcome.
He sucked compared to his peers at the time
<3 niceeeeeeeeeeeee
Sports tape on his face. I guess that single bar facemask wasn't cutting it.
What happened to Roman? What was the reason.for such a strange, 'bandage'....?
@:21 second mark of the video
@@b17bomberOk.....I still don't see or hear what his injury was.....no context.
@@67marlins The video literally tells you... 'Roman Gabriel's mouth tells you a lot about the renovated Big Red defense" and later " a proud and two fisted big red defense refused to yield and Roman gabriel and company paid a heavy toll" The second quote a he takes a shot to the face ... I regret posting this video because of comments like these, sorry no offense.
@@b17bomber Until you tell us, we can't read minds. Like I said earlier....no context means people will ask.
He was a tough SOB!
He was raised by 2 parents who were both blind.
As a child of the 1950's, I became a lifelong Packers fan. I remember the Rams beating the Packers on my birthday October 13, 1968, score was 16-14. Roman played better than Bart Starr that day. For 9 seasons, 1968-1978(no game '72 or '76) the Rams beat GB EIGHT times with a 5 game winning streak then another 5 game streak after their one loss. Lifetime series is 47-46-2. Favor of Green Bay. One tough past time.
It didn't help his mouth's chances that he had that single bar face mask.
I told him I remember watching him play with the Eagles and said he was lucky to be alive! (The Eagles weren't very good back then) And he responded with "and those Rams teams weren't too hot either!
I met Roman about 15 years ago and what a polite, gracious very nice man. A real pleasure to meet.
Bring back those old Eagle unis.
#17, Harold Carmichael, 6’ 8”… should’ve been in the HOF 20 years earlier.
I met Roman Gabriel at a Burger King in Fayetteville, NC in the early 1970s. It was a scheduled "meet and greet". He was signing footballs and pictures for the crowd. My brother still has the picture. Haha.....
Anyone know the name of the first track?
Mr scruff - Ug
@@nikol7552 Very good, thank you for clearing that up for me! I knew I'd heard that groove before.
Gabriel! Stop shaving and get out on that field!
76 on the Giants defense is terrible.
The white face paint doesn’t look very menacing- looks more like puzzling than scary😂
it's not paint, it's bandages.
